Individuals in prison for a felony conviction are ineligible to vote. Voting rights are automatically restored upon release from prison. People on parole or probation can vote. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.

Felons in Oregon instantly regain their civil right to vote upon release from prison. Any felon who is not incarcerated can vote in Oregon. Therefore, if you are on probation or parole, you have the right to vote.

How Can A Felon in Oregon Restore Their Voting Rights

If you meet the above criteria as a felon, then here are the other requirements before you can register to vote:
You are eligible to vote in Oregon if you:
Are a U.S citizen
Are a resident of Oregon
Are at least 18 years old by Election Day
To register to vote in Oregon you should provide one of the following:
Learner’s Permit
Your Oregon Driver’s License Number
Your Oregon ID Number
If you do not have any of these ID numbers, you are permitted to use the Last Four Digits of your Social Security Number.

If you do not have any of these IDs, you can provide a copy of one of the following with your registration application:
Pay Check
Proof of Eligibility under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) or the Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act (VAEH)
Government Issued Document that shows your current name and address
Current Utility Bill
Valid Photo ID
Bank Statement
