Perkins Specialized Transportation was founded in 1945 by Daryl Perkins. The company specializes in heavy haul tracking and super loads logistics. Perkins Specialized transportation’s primary customers are the gas, energy, oil, electrical and any other massive manufacturing companies, for whom the Perkins fleet transports several items including a vessel for oil refinery, turbines, reactors, bridge beams, electrical generators, and boilers. The Perkins company has several types of equipment including; 20 class 8 tractors, ten trailers, one 400-ton dual lane suspension beam trailer, and several support vehicles. Perkins Specialized Transportation has 35 field personnel; these are inclusive of the drivers, field superintendents, and crew persons who help with transportation.
